Larry, Thanks for the compliment, I wish I had known. I always had them for sale but I think the way I worded the original ad people thought I only had 3. I've got 5 for sale...Take care, let me know when you get to the range!!
For any new people-these are German receivers, with original serial numbers and desirable cuts.these are not to be confused with Yugo 53s,and replacement /aftermarket receivers. These would be sought by people that have an historical interest. The others are for those that want a shooter, and are not as exacting as to whether or not they have a particular number or makers stamp. It is a matter of what you want.If you do re-enactment it is nice to have the 'real thing',but you may not want it to get banged around or worn.Several reasons for the price differences.Same with kits-Yugos are under $200 now-waffenamt stamped covers alone are approaching this price. This is no attempt to comment pro or con on the price of these particular receivers, just a comment on the differences.I wish that was my table, though! ---bil
Thanks Bil, couldn't have said it better. The price is for the entire reciever with rails and trunion. I almost feel guilty, almost but like Bil said these parts have gone up considerably. Thanks for looking, Jorge
