They will be $100.00 + shipping. and look like they will be an easy fix, eaiser than the ones from northridge. Was someone else on the board going to make these repair bearings? I'm still in need of TWO front sections or just the bearings, see my WTB ad. Thanks for your help.

I wonder if anybody is planning on making camming sections? I know someone who made one. It can be done, but there is a TON of work involved.

100 bucks apeice? Does everyone here agree that it is a fair price? Also Weaponeer says that a minimum buy of 50 is required?! What of individual peices? Is anyone here on the forum still trying to make their own at a lower price?

$100 is a fair price for all the maching required.Threading on a lathe and the internal slots looks like a lot of work.A good part to have for someone making a BRP receiver and using a Yugo kit with the missing bearing.

Yes I could make one cheaper. I have the tools to do so. It would cost me $2.00 in steel. However it would take a good bit of time to make one, enough time that i'd have to sell them for more than $100. (NO i'm not making any)

As many will see the cost of machining parts is expensive. You have set-up time and machine time.
The machine time varies with the machine. Brownies may be as cheap as $40 and hour where a rotary
transfer high production machine can run upwards of $130 an hour. Your set-up time is often figured against
that as 'lost time'.

A Brown and Sharpe PTC could blank it out in about 2-3 minutes. Then you would have to broach the
slots, and do the 'ramp'. Then the time for the heat-treating.

So a short run of 50 I can see costing $100. Quantities of scale is the key.
Too bad where I work they are only interested in high-volume work. I have often thought about getting some work quoted but it is not anywhere near the size run they would be interested in. 10,000 pieces is the smallest I have ever seen. They want 150,000 or larger.

This is just my observation based on the shop where I work. By no means am I trying to be critical of anyone.
I too used to look at air and hydraulic fittings and wonder why they cost what they cost. Now after spending 11 years of my life making them, among many other things for the automotive,aerospace and medical fields, I understand.

Have these been made already, or is this simply gauging interest/taking orders for future production? And if this is for a future product, when do you anticipate them being available?

The best person to ask would be weaponeer on the weaponeer site.

Weaponeer says that they are not yet made, but he will have nearly all fo them done by the time all of the payments are in. He is definatly going to make them for this group buy, but I do not know if he will make them afterwards. I will buy mine, and if I find that I will not need it, i would easily sell it to someone who misses out on the buy; I hope that won't be you dagobert !

I think that Weaponeer is making them; the words he uses to describe the manufacturing process seems like he is the actual manufacturer. And I am too lazy to ask him right now who is making them...

Yeah, Weaponeer is Wise Lite Arms. He makes so much stuff, I wish that his product page on the Wise Lite site worked.

Actually no, WLS is connected to MGS. Weaponeer just sells (through group buys) some of their stuff. Weaponeer is located in Norwalk Wi. WLS is located in Boyd, Tx

its not me but the funny part is I proposed having a batch of 50-100 of these run for $50-$65 each on this very group last year and did not have a single person interested. All about timing I guess, took me forever to sell the 10 samples I made.

Call Wise Lite Arms the last I heard they Where $125.00 each and they still had them got one 2-Weeks ago .

I have emailed them from their website. Do they respond to emails or do I need to call?
