Hello,

Two months ago I got a magazine that I had ordered over the phone for the German WWII MG15. When I receive it, it was Japanese with an orange two piece leather handle. It has 98 to 99% original paint with ear on the four high spots on the bottom. It is marked with an anchor, an 'E' with a funny shape, and a cartouche. Two of the exterior parts have the same five digit number. It is for the WWII Japanese navy Type 1 machinegun. It is a rare magazine especially in this condition. More pictures are available on request, just PM me.

The price for the magazine is $1,500. The price is freight included. You can contact me at bnz4350@aol.com. There are more pictures available. They look as nice as the five posted pictures.

The leather strap has been replaced. The Japanese tonight use rivets like that to fasten leather to steal. I had one of these years back. If I can find pictures of it I will try to post it. The Japanese used a two piece Rivet, once fasten together it looks like a cold rivet

Also, the manufacture of the magazine will be stamped on the top underneath the latch. Either Nagoya (a circle with a lazy eight inside) or Kokura (stacked cannonballs).. Even though the latch is navy Mark, with the anchor, it will still have a manufactures Mark somewhere
