Ok, about the bipod... Can anyone share more details about it. Selling price was stated high low whatever and it's sold.
Is this WW2 redo, kind of looks like bren bottom into mg34 top. Or is it something made by a country for post war use or what.
Could not find anything about it in Myrvang's mg34/mg42 book.

It's just a very common ZB vz30 bi-pod. These only came off the MG34's made by CZ-Brno after the cessation of hostilities. There are a hundred stories floating around about how they came to be supplied on these last MG34's, and they are certainly original equipment to those few guns, the question is more "when were the MG34's produced that they came on?" Enough evidence exists to suggest these were NOT issued during the time actual hostilities were in progress, and most likely the story dovetails right into the whole messy discussion of the so-called "Israeli" MG34 production from CZ in the immediate post war period. One must recall that the CZ/ZB vz30 LMG was still very much in series production for many years after the War ended, and it seems most likely that the Czech factory merely ran out of original MG34 bipod parts and substituted a decent replacement as they continued to assemble MG34's from the remaining already manufactured parts they still inventoried.
So, one can surely claim that these are "original equipment" for those specific MG34's, but not wartime issue, nor certainly ever in any scheme known about by the German's.
