I have to say the SA MP-40's are the most exciting thing to come along in the gun world in a very long time. I almost regret owning a FA MP-40, since if I didn't, I certainly would have bought one from ssroom.com. I can't afford a MP-44. Perhaps someday someone will build SA MP-44's that are a legal to own in AMERICA. The BD-44 from Germany doesn't count here.

I just shot my new semi BAR from Ohio Ordnance last weekend! AWSOME is the only thing that I can say about that gun. The wife says it's BAD ASS. You can replicate the slow fire selection very easily. I'm now looking for a Historic Arms built semi Bren if anyone knows of one for sale. I plan on swapping out the early style bolt handle on the MP40 for the latter version. I have some extra bolts and "goodies" for the MP40 on hand, but I don't want to use one from a good bolt. Anyone have an extra for sale or have a source for one. The videos are very impressive with the brass ammo. Any idea when they will start shipping? All in favor of a SS Room semi MP44 please chime in and let them know that there is an interest and a market. I would snap up a semi MP44 in a heart beat. Good job on the MP40!!!

LtShaffer, lemme try to answer a few of your questions.

1. You can swap the charging handles, but you must thread the original charging handle to fit the semi auto bolt. Its not press fit like an original. You have to remove the handle to remove the bolt from the receiver.

2. An original bolt will not work in our SSR40.

3. We now have a firearm order status on the website. We expect to have all the machine parts from the machinst on the 17th of July. Then assembly begins. More to follow and the website will stay updated.

4. We know everyone wants a Semi Auto MP44. We want semi auto MP44s too!!! We just don't have the half mil required to tool up to make them.

Thanks for the compliants...its working nice :)
