WTS: Demillled MG42 Saw-cut complete receiver $1000 now $700

I am selling a demilled, unfinished MG42 receiver. Was a project that was not completed, front and rear pieces of the receiver have previously been demilled and welded. Has the markings "M.U M.G. 42 8549c" with Waffenamt eagle stamp on rear half of the receiver. Asking $1000 + shipping from CA. PM me if interested.

WOWZA!!!!! Thats a great kit!!!!!! Im really wanting to get into a parts kit and build an mg42, but unfortuantly I dont have the time nor money, so I would have to buy it as a complete gun or a near complete parts kit where all I would need is to add a few pieces and parts here and there too it. But for what you are offering it as I would assume you will have it sold to someone here before the weekend is over!

So, let me ask an important question here. Just to clarify......

From the included pictures supplied, it seems that the (legal) "firearm receiver" section (rear section) appears to be fully re-manufactured back to the original machine gun specifications as originally manufactured. Correct?

I am asking because I cannot discern from your pictures whether or not any semi-auto receiver modifications have been incorporated into your restoration work here?? Can you please clarify.

Yes, denial block is installed in it. But kit is now sold, it is no longer available.

This was a questionable receiver to begin with, and now he hasn't responded in more than 2 months??

If the receiver was in question for ANY reason, DoctorCheney223 should have asked for better pictures prior to purchasing. Hopefully he did his homework. No one I am aware of on this board is looking to buy dubious or illegal parts or firearms. Hopefully the seller will be straight up and either finish the deal or return payment. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we shall not tolerate ripoff artists on this forum, or persons laying traps involving legality.

What strikes me as odd is he has been a member since 2007. Assuming the buyer has his name and address, maybe he can look up his phone number online and try calling him?
