owning that reciever in the states is a MAJOR crime wolf.
"good , bad, .....I'm the man with the gun."
Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of
over-age juvenile delinquents running the place.

I can cut it up for you, lol!
Re: A whole, never been cut MG34 receiver + a lot of MG34 F/
Wolf, Im sure others are going to chime in here but that receiver is a %100 no-go here in the states. It is still considered a machine gun and subject to all the ATF regs that goes along with it...and I dont know of a way you could even legally import it either.
However, if you cut that thing in half, its still worth MAJOR bucks to us here......

This is what I was saying too!ScottD wrote:However, if you cut that thing in half, its still worth MAJOR bucks to us here......
And I was not joking: I can cut it for you, guys.
I respect the US laws and if somebody wants this receiver, they should drop me a line and I will cut it in half for them (using the thinnest saw blade).

Wolf88, I believe that for you to chop this receiver NOW, you would have to conform to the BATFE's most recent cutting requirements. That would be using a gas torch to remove at least 1/8" of metal for each cut. I think they also raised the cuts from 3 to 4. Sawcut receivers were done in the past, but are probably no longer acceptable for newly cut receivers. I would consult BATFE before straying into areas that involve the law. Just sayin'...

Re: A whole, never been cut MG34 receiver + a lot of MG34 F/
Somebody gave me this idea: would it be possible to cut up the receiver, using a thin saw blade (not a torch), then ship the pieces as separate packages - each one for itself, in the form of scrap metal pieces?
Scrap metal is not illegal, so it should not be against the law to do that.
I guess it would be against the law if you try to weld the pieces together, but I have seen people here showcase welded receivers, so this should be doable too. I'm really confused by this.

Darvis is right. You have to follow current ATF regs to cut and import that receiver. Now that you have posted your intent to cut it with a thin blade and send it over one piece at a time I would advise board members to not buy it. Not worth the hassle if you get caught. Sorry! - Matt

I'm sure that he will only sell it where and how it is legal. He is one of the good guys. I have to wonder about what the rest of the mg34 looked like, as it seems to be from a dig.

Forget about it. I am not selling the receiver anymore.
You can still order something else from the lot listed above, though.

As I said, forget about the receiver.ScottD wrote:I thought you cut the receiver YEARS ago when a one cut was legal..........Thats what I was seeing....
It looks like it's against the rules in the USA and therefore it is no longer being offered for sale to American customers.
Pick something from he lot instead.

Wolf is a good person with nice stuff fair prices and someone that I would order from again. I think that I'll review the stuff on this list again.
Note he is not offering the mg34 receiver for sale to US buyers anymore in any form so just forget about that. Unless you are thinking about flying over and buying in person then you try to bring it back. Myself I enjoyed seeing the pictures of one that was not torch cut or saw cut. Thanks for those pics Wolf

^ My pleasure.
Speaking about pictures: can somebody with mod privileges remove the photos of the receiver from my first post, please?
They are stirring too much mud and the receiver is no longer for sale anyway.
I miss the days when members of the forum were able to edit their older posts.
Thanks!

Wolf...every one of us here, just for a millisecond, considered a way to buy that thing and not get caught....thanks for taking it down and removing the temptation. I hope you have some luck selling it elsewhere.
