FS: German 42 receiver

Post by haseo8up »

German 42 receiver. Started out as a four cut all original pieces, grip opening is milled to not accept a full auto trigger housing. Also, a bolt block installed so no full auto bolt can be inserted. No rails are installed. This was once a working semi for my own use. Barrel Gate still has factory rivets in place. It still needs the cosmetic work before finishing. It was tig welded together. I'll state this again, it is a none working receiver, you will have to finish it to make it a semi auto. This is similar to what PDstout offered as a service.

I have to move this, all forum rules apply. Asking $700 US dollars shipped to you. If this does not sell, it will move to gunbroker and cut up again to sell as parts. First one to post here I'll take it, gets it. Any questions, please contact me through this site PM's.

I'd put money on it being a 42.
Barrel gate having a screw not a rivet, and front AA mount indicate a 42 or very good imitation. I also don't believe any of the 53's were released as 4 cuts.

haseo8up, you should really think about using an FFL for the transfer. That looks like it might be a little too close to working to just hand it off.

Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of
over-age juvenile delinquents running the place.

Thanks DI, was kind of wondering myself. It is German receiver. It was a bad cut job near the left side markings, NC and MG 42 still intact, the others are not. I'll get pic's if still interested.
