what do you do with left over parts after winning some inexpensive gunbroker auctions and score a cheap phili receiver??, you build another display gun my friend! :D . I still have to swap some parts around to make a proper MG42 and MG3, but basically I am done.......once I get that GREEN PLASTIC BUTTSTOCK!, oh, sorry...am I yelling again?. Image Image

Tis the idea..... Oh, did you notice the "stamps" on the phili receiver?. I just could not help myself. Put tools in front of a fool and mayhem follows!. If only I had lower case stamps.....

I am curious what was the defect on that philia rec? and what does it look like inside, from the ends, does the cocking handle work looks real good, philia has the "rail rivets" right?

inside there is about a 1" hole that runs the length, the handle and trigger mech works. Will post a pic of the I.D. later when I get home.
