New, unfired, Steyr MG74 pictures.

Post by TactAdv »

Couple of pictures of a brand new, unfired, Steyr MG 74 that wandered home with me.

For those unaware of just why this is such an interesting version, the MG 74 is the latest/most updated version of MG3 with several unique features including a true selective fire (semiauto & fullauto) capable trigger group fire control, built in winter trigger, heavy bolt body and buffer ass'y that lowers ROF to below 800 RPM.

Man that is really cool...

How about cutting it up and selling it to me as a parts kit :)

I would love to have one of them!

Is there rust on the MG-42 and MG-74 or is it light reflecting off the "red" safe?
MG-34 looks OK, shiney like it is oiled or soaked in Hoppes
