Pete,
Did you get a chance to try out that suggestion of using a 2-pcs. Blank-Barrel instead of a restricted Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" to fire Blanks out in the field during reenactments (?).

It makes for a lot more noise.....and seems to be more reliable to me when using my MG42 and MG34.

Regards, RichardS in MI.

I like the aging effect. Is this a re-enactment group of a 'Propoganda Kompanie'? I noticed that most of the guys were 'shooting' with cameras! Nice pics,it looks like a lot of fun. ---bil

Welcome Bruce --

Do the reenacting thing, you'll love it.

Just search the typically associated words (German reenacting/ reenacting/ wwii reenacting, etc., etc.) and you'll find 1) lots of information on the subject, and 2) directories and links to reenacting groups near you.

Easy. :D

Reenacting

What I usually tell guys that want to get into reenacting is. Look around and see what you want to reenact. US, German, Russan, and others. I do not care whitch just do something. It makes the hobby bigger. I am in the LAH. Our web site is http://www.lssah.com
It has all the information about our unit, as well as others. The main thing is to have FUN!

I agree with pdstout. No matter what nation you prefer, just join up. Many of us "crossdress". No, not the kind of crossdressing Bil and TC are intimately familiar with, the kind that involves high heels and pink taffida sweaters. No, not that. Crossdressing is a humourous term used to describe the occasional switching uniform to one other than you normally use. Many Germans go GI or Russian every so often to keep things interesting.
