Hi guys, I joined a year and a half ago, and My gun is finally done. It's All Mine :D but I would not have it if it hadn't been for Pirate's patience and extreme expertise, not to mention hard work! Thank You Pirate.

Happy New Year to All :mg:

Followed the exact proceedure that Pirate has on projectguns.com Look under parkerizing. It was a manganese solution. It comes out perfect!!

Sweet '42 stifeout!!! I need to get some rivets from Pirate so I can finish my build.......

I hate looking at it on the AA tripod knowing it's so close to being done...

Well, I guess your build is going to be my encouragement. It gives me inspiration that a pile of parts can become a thing of beauty. I just joined this forum and more importantly, I just bought my M53 semi-auto kits today.
I have been reading all the threads for a while now, and it looks like that all the knowledge on this forum is going to be key for me. I look forward to my "year and a half" of fun.
