Here's a few pictures of one of my 42's with a 1st pattern cocking handle. Not something you encounter every day. Something different for a change.

I just saw one of these in a movie - "A Bridge Too Far" - at about the 10:00 minute mark. The Germans are in retreat, and the gunner is carrying the MG42 over his shoulder, holding the barrel end. You can see the "early style" lever in at least two scenes.

At this time your request is impossible. I am moving house, as in I am in rented accomodation at this time and my own house is being rebuilt, consequently all my collection is in storage for the duration and I don't even get to see it.
