j.bal,
Nice job on the "SA42"....looks good.
Did I happen to see a semi-only PPSh-41 on the bench with a 16" barrel?........I haven't check the non-German section of the Forum/Board....but if it is your gun, maybe you could go into a little detail about it and the build of same to get others interested an a semi-only PPSh-41....and maybe a PPS-43 build? ...or is the politiacllt-correct term a "SA-41" and an "SA-43" ?
Keep up the good work, RichardS.

As a matter of fact it is an SR-41 made by Inter Ord about 4-5 years back. Not bad and fun to shot, just had to work out some kinks. I bought a Hung. PPSh from the group buy on Weaponner. So I'm going to build a semi out of that one, using this as a template.

j.bal, with your size/stature in the pic there is no way you can hold up that thompson! My oldest just turned 4 over the weekend and I think it is time to get her on the old savage model 4.
Great looking 42!

Yep that looks great. Your guns ability to pull a loaded belt on the soft mount is a good indicator everything is working smoothly.
