My wife took this tintype of me this weekend.
It was captured on a modern exact reproduction of an 1850's ferrotype camera, this was a 14 second exposure, the chemicals are of the same type as used in the 1850's and really smell out the house.
*PS - tried it with my finger over the guard, I preferred the way it looked with my finger resting on the trigger - foolhardy, irresponsible, dangerous and amateurish - just like the civil war pics from the 1860's - that and it's dummy ammo
