Your missing the bayonet lug.
Looks like the rear of the reciever is MIA. You still need one of Dan's reciever kits.
They sent a bayonet with your kit?

Looks like it is pretty much all there , now you need a rear receiver section. I can't believe
they would send a kit without a bbl, hope you don't have a problem getting it.

Any ideas what the bayonet is for? The invoice they sent has the parts kit on it listed for $343.87 and then a bayonet listed for $6.00. Total is $349.87 without tax and shipping which is what I was expecting to pay for just the kit. Do Century kits normally come with the rear receiver section?

That is a Cetme bayonet and Century is giving them away for free for any orders over $100. I got one too with an ammo order, but on the invoice they charged me for the bayonet. Then I noticed they lowered the price of the ammo the same I paid for the bayo...so it really was free.

The kit looks pretty nice.
Any pitting on the parts?
Looks like about 90% or so of the original finish remains. Are the parts blued?
Did the top cover come with the Yugo crest?
Looks like the butt stock is wood. Any serious dings/missing pieces of wood?
Thanks,
Hoover

Hoover1, My Yugo stock cleaned up very well with a light sanding and the Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil Stock finishing kit. I did talk to Dan at Angola earlier today and he said most of the Yugo stocks he received had some kind of damage (dents or gouges). So I guess I got lucky on my stock.

Yes, it does have the crest on the topcover. No pitting that I can tell. Luckily these were dipped in grease or cosmo prior to storage. I called their CS number today, and I'm suppose to have a barrel on the way soon. Hopefully I won't get a sewer pipe! Wood is definitely shot! Lots of large gouges, scrapes.

After 3 weeks of back and forth from the customer service guy at Century, it appears that I may not be getting the barrel with my kit that I ordered. First time I spoke with Joe in CS, he indicated that they would send one out. Next time, it was "they haven't sent it out yet, not sure why not, maybe they dont have any in stock." Third call, and he said he would check again. He called me back later and he said that their warehouse manager checked the weight that UPS had logged in for the box and the weight that the shipped it out as, and they were very close. Meaning that they shipped it out with a barrel. He then said, that they take extra care to insure that everything gets in the box for each kit, and that there is no way that they could have forgot a barrel. He asked me if there were any holes in the box. He said there was nothing he could do for me, unless the box was damaged and it came out during shipping. I checked this evening, and I think I've thrown the box away. I have tons of boxes sitting around and dont just hang on to them for a month at a time. I do have one box that it might could have came out of, but it doesn't have any holes. I'm just not sure.
Bottom line, I DID NOT get a barrel with the package. I am a very honest person, and it upsets greatly when people I deal with accuse me of lieing.
What would you do? It doesn't look like Century is a member of the BBB.

Sorry to hear that I wasn't the only one with such a bum deal from them. I mean these guys are being hard asses over a $40 barrel. I could understand if it was something a lot more than that, but come one. Any suggestions?

If you payed by CC context the charge. the CC companys always take the side of the
card holder. I had a problem with a kit I got from a guy on one of the boards. I payed through
paypal and he never sent it paypal jerked around for about a month because the guy gave them
a bogus tracking # and would not give me a refund. one call to my CC company got me my $
$$ back in short order.

Call your credit card company asap AND write them a letter referencing the call. Do this ASAP as there is a time limit. This will get the supplier off there butts and help you or they will lose all their money.
