Finally got back on the site after some time away..... A couple of deployments, a new wife, and life.... Also picked up another MG42 - CRA 55XX No letter Code dated 1942!

looks good except the topcover. It looks shot up around the feedtray area. I hope the rest of her ain't damaged. Am I wrong? Are those bullet holes or someone creatively vent it?
