Test firing two MG 42s

These are brothers I recuited in helping wring out some mysterious problems that were apparently caused by a broken weld in the grip asse
mbly..........[img][/img] One gun also had a new recoil spring. There was a noticeable rate of fire difference. Interchanging the new with the used spring made no difference. I did not disassemble the bolts to see what type anti bounce device was in each........
