This lot MG was found in Normandy to Evreux. The MG42 neutralized by an arms factory of French state.

so, i'm a french man :oops: this MG42 lot has been found in Evreux in Normandie. MG has been desactivated by the french state.

Are all those guns deactivated? They look great!

You said that MG42 was found? Was it hid in a barn or something? It looks like it's in great shape... Surely not dug??? :shock:

How do they do the de-activation in France? Each country does it differantly,it would be interesting to get a list of them.Thank you.By 'in fat' ,do you mean it was still in cosmoline grease? Thanks. ---bil

Weapons are neutralized: cut and welded breech, leaky cannon and welded + paper of the bench of test french. " saint etiennes armes"

The piece of shrapnel left a track. I will take photos :)
