THose guys sent photos home to impress family and friends just like now, I'm sure.
I would bet they flipped the belt over, and strewn it out, so the camera would pick up
all those nice and shiney brass bullets.
Well, the upside-down belt not working won't matter for long once the shooting starts, anyway. I do love the genious who had the idea to use the row of potato mashers for cover. They'll be MUCH better than those silly sandbags at stopping incoming fire! BRILLIANT! Maybe they could use some land mines to stand on so they don't accidently slip on any expended brass?
