It looks great! Was your IO kit a 4 cut? Mine was. I didnt know about the Angola 3 cut kits until after I had already bought from IO.

It was a 4 cut receiver. A friend "showed me how" to weld it.

You are making me wish I had built a SA MG-42 already, looking good!
As soon as I saw the first picture, I said, that looks like a southern home. Everything about the house in the picture looked like I had built it.

That SA42 looks great.....did that I.O. 4-cut receiver have the rail-rivit-heads ground out?...or machined with an end-mill?
Did you use TIG or MIG welding?.....type of rod/wire used?
What kind of camera are you using?

First the rail was still rivited on the receiver when i got it. So I drilled out the old rivits. The whole project was tig welded. I can not remember what type of rod was used. The camera is a HP M22 4 m/p bought it a a package deal with a HP 7450 printer from Target came with a $20 gift card also for $190.
