Introductions (or one way to increase your post count).
Re: Introductions (or one way to increase your post count).
Found this site while researching building a M53. I have to say this has been one of the most valuable sites for the info I was looking for. Glad to be on the board and look forward to building a M53 and learning from those with experience and knowledge that are on this site.

Re: Introductions (or one way to increase your post count).
Hello,
I came here to learn more about MG42, M53, MG3 as i plan to do a build soon. Site looks great with lots of information. I have 3 k98s, a hitler youth knife, and various other German WWII items. I have built an semi auto sten, and semi auto uzi. So i plan to tackle something a little more challenging this time around. Thanks!

Got referred here many moons ago by the 1919A4.com folsk when I started my SA 42 build. Life got in the way a bit but lately I am keen on finishing it. Thanks for hosting the great site and so much useful information.

Found this forum when researching M53 builds. An MG42 has always been on my gun bucket list. Couldn't get an authentic 42, so I settled for an M53 kit.
A little about myself. I'm probably one of the younger members at 26. I am a mechanical engineer. I reverse-engineer aircraft components. In addition, I'm also a machinist (manual and CNC) and mechanic. All of which seem to go hand in hand here. I'm extremely fortunate enough to have access to all the machinery and metrology equipment a guy could ever dream of.
I've learned a ton reading for hours on the forum already. Seems like a wealth of knowledge here. Thanks to the admins for keeping up with things!
I look forward to sending the first chunk of lead downrange!
Regards,
Mauser98

Hello all! Was active on here 10+ years ago when I first started my build (profile must have been nuked). This site has been a great source of information over the years. Finally got my MG42 mostly built so I'm back for more punishment.

Hi I'm David from GA.
I'm not very tech savvy on this type of stuff so please forgive me and hope I did this correctly.
I'm a veteran, firearms enthusiast and collector. After years of working for and with a partner through two 07 FFL, I've branched out on my own. Also with a gunsmith and do Cerakoting and Hydrodipping.
I've only recently dove into the MG42 area and have loits of question and want to learn more and willing to share any info on parts I might have.
Thanks for allowing me in.
