Well I posted this almost 2 years ago and thought that it could use a bump to let the new folks see.

I did read it again and still can't keep from laughing.

We had one of these at the front counter where I used to work. It was the kind of stun gun you hold in your hand and squeeze and you would get a little electrical arc between two prongs. I took it outside and was trying to shock an ant walking along a stone wall... the thing arced and I zapped my hand. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I probably looked like Charlie Brown when he goes flying through the air with his shoes flying off etc. Everyone else thought it was really really funny.

Those things are NOT toys... on the other hand, it was probably a really good experience for me. I know what one of those things can do if I ever had to use one or, if someone was threatening me with one.

They also seem to have no effect on insects... FYI...
