Has anyone had any bad experiences with 1953 dated Yugo 8mm heavy ball? Had fired about 45 rounds when one of my buddies said not to use it in my MG's. He said they had excessive primer leakage (which did occur) and he had several bad head failures. Thankfully I did not. Has any one else had problems with this ammo.
TIA

IIRC, it was Yugo HB that trashed a C&R MG42 at Knob Creek a few years back.

The problem is the primers are seated too far into the case.. The firing pin of my GEW98 Mauser only sets off a handful out of each box...
I'm hoping when I get the '42 built the firing pin will go deep enough to hit the primer.... Otherwise I'll have wasted money on the 3 cases I have... I need to pick up some Romanian..........
