of course it's post wwI, the backplate is not WWI, it's a special grip trigger from WWII....

Yeah I think David has it 100% as normal. The Grip is a squeeze trigger correct? That would only be post WWI. I assume this is the same gun that has the feedblock converted for MG34 belts?
This picture did help me a lot! I think the Chinese grips have the same feature and I thought it was for a scope but now I see, its for the AA stock.
I would love to get some of that post WWI items...

Well, doing it the way the Germans did... Machining, adding a new part... yeah a fair amount of work by someone who knows what they are doing. Not something thats easy for an "at home" conversion.
