Its pretty much all done. Repro parts are sling, drum, bipod and water hose (not connector). Its been a lot of work getting this all together. I have now bought and sold 2 other parts kit to get what you see.

Below the gun is the russian/german 8mm adj lock conversion and the 7.62*54r conversion.

Wow those are great looking pieces. Are the repro drum and bipod something you did or did someone do a run of them? it's awesome seeing a drum that looks right from the factory.

Wow, I remember you speculating on this stuff quite some time ago. Glad to see that you are ready to rock and roll now! Great job; and I love those evil and massive machine guns!

The Drum and Bipod are from IMA. Check other links.

Actually I now have an Original Bipod! They only repro parts are the sling and drum now. Plus I have a LMG08/15!

Sure enough, IMA, i didn't think of the obvious place.

Say, your latest acquisition looks very industrial. I love the vented barrel jacket.

Yeah its a Plane gun. It was probably on a DVII and might have seen action late in the war or might have never been installed. It was probably brought back with the US Army (as many were) and was given to a VFW in WV. I am currently looking for parts to complete it and plan on turning it into a semi gun when the semi Maxim plans come out. The air FA guns are not worth as much as the Watercooled because of the limit on over heating the barrel. The trigger system will be a little trouble but I think it will be a really cool gun when I am done.

Do you have the interupter gear? That would be a neat accessory! ---bil

Yup, most of it. I am missing the part that connects to the trigger.

I would like to use the interupter gear hooked to a wheel/crank to fire it with something like the crankfire for the 1919a4

If I remember right, these worked off the camshaft. It was quite revolutionary at the time,as previously the options were to mount the gun on the upper wing, use'pusher'type planes,or my favorite, steel wedges to deflect the bullets off the prop.Quite a change when Fokker came up with this. ---bil

Wow! Nice set, an S&H gun! I love it! I've got a Spandau, and a D.W.&M.F. one. I love the things! Nice aircraft gun, the reason they're cheaper is that they're often hard to get to fire- just like you said, the trigger. I've heard that some of them, sadly, had the registered plates yanked and put on parts kits for ground guns, just because they're hard to really use. They are real pieces of history, though!

Is that Russian Maxim a live gun??? FA???? Did you get it from Bubba Naess?

Glen :D

It seems to me you can get a LMG firing by buying a pistol grip and installing it after removing the interuptor gearing. Of course its going to over heat fast!

No just a parts kit on the 1910. No FA for me yet.
