Oh boy am I in trouble,

Went to an auction this weekend and promised not to spend much money.....well I managed to pick this up and now I am in the bad books with the Mrs....again
I was fortunate to have been able to give this item a thorough inspection a couple of months ago and now it is here for you to view.
Painted details indicate capture by New Zealand's Otago Infantry which was my Grandfathers regiment.Any one have period pics of this pattern of armor in use as I note it does differ from the bulk of the armor I have seen in use.

Is anyone able to give me detailed pics and dimensions of the attachment brackets? And just on the off chance you have a spare...Im looking for the front plate as well ;-)

Andrew

Still been searching the net for pics of this type of armor in use, this pic with soldiers wearing grabenpanzer's is definitely the same .Anyone have good information on the MG08 armor? Other than what is written in the Goldsmith book "The Devils Paintbrush"?

Can someone help with pics and details of the securing straps for the water jacket armor? Also maybe a reference thread for armor could be beneficial to all.
Cheers
Andrew
