does any one know how the mg 13 mags were typically carried in the field...ie was the gunner equipped with one of those nifty vests, or were they carried in cans?
Also were specific gunners pouches used like for the 42/34 gunners?

FWIW, I've got WaA-marked MG13 mags that came in the vests (not WaA-marked, so Portuguese?) and also in WaA-marked cans.

According to Musgrave/Nelson's "German Machine Guns" They did have a gunners pouch like the 34/42.
