Well, the MG08 is looking great but i need to find a drain valve assembly and a top strap for the sled. Any drain valve parts would be appreciated. I am also very open to either original or repro top strap.

As to the top straps, can anyone comment on how to positively ID a repro?

The original top straps are machined castings. Most repros are all machined. Other than that, its just knowing what an original looks like. For example the spring loaded pins that hole the securing screws up, that feature is almost always skipped. Being able to easily see the pins that hold the screws in place...

There are some repros top straps on ebay but they are about it right now. A guy in Russia makes them. They look so-so.
