This tread started in 2009 and now getting a lot more great pics added to it.

THANKS for the follow up and pics. If in the Fla area stop in at

as they have several Jap machine guns. Also some German and a lot of American machine guns. Great place also.

Not that it really matters much, but that is not a type 98. It is a type 1 with a German bolt installed. I have handled this gun in person at the museum. Since then, this display must have been built, and a nice job done on it I must add.

Very cool to see that they didn't end up chopped up or something! Wish they were out in firing hands, but... this is at least a better resolution than could have happened! Great job!
