I guess this topic could be posted anywhere, but since I am specifically applying it to the mg13, ill do it here.
Up until this point, I have been using Lucas (machine)gun oil on both the blank barrel chamber stub and on the plastic .308 blanks in the mags
2-PIECE BARREL:I found that the oil burns off of the chamber stub in 2 rounds. And although the gun seems to function fine, I would feel better I there was some kind of lubricant I could. Use there
MAGS: I discovered that .308 plastic blanks in an 8mm mag work great but only when liberally oiled
Is there a better lube I could be using for this as well?
best lube for 2-piece barrel and plastic blanks?
Re: best lube for 2-piece barrel and plastic blanks?
You could try spray on silicone on the blanks and graphite powder/grease or that Molybdenum disulfide high temp grease on the barrel(never seize nickel grease?)
