Does anyone make repro Mg08 booster barrel bearings?
I know Mg34.com has the booster assemblies but all I need is a bearing.

Re: MG08 Barrel Bushing
Do you mean a plain muzzle gland? Or do you mean the first part of the booster body that threads into the front endcap? Muzzle of barrel is supprted by hole in front endcap. There is no separate barrel bearing in the front end of an MG08 as the front endcap is bored for the muzzle diameter of the 08 barrel, just as the front endcap of the 08/15 is bored for the larger diameter of the muzzle of that gun, etc.
Re: MG08 Barrel Bushing
He is talking about the internal piece of the MG08 booster that fits around the barrel. The booster Pistol/cylinder type part. Its the moving part of the booster.
Re: MG08 Barrel Bushing
Really? Correct me, but he asked for a "booster barrel bearing"???? Well, OK, pardon me, but it is not a barrel bearing....... it is a "piston", at least......and it does not fit around the barrel, really, but the muzzle does inset in to the base of the piston a short distance.
Now, maybe we are all on the same page.

Well Bob, it would help if I knew what I was talking about

In former times I use to build vielle à roue's (commonly known as the Hurdy-gurdy, not to be confused with the simple organ grinder), anyway my reference for gun parts always goes back to that, I erroneously assumed this part acted more like a bushing than a piston for the barrel--now I know otherwise
