Glen great images. Have you and the crew adopted the original 'manual' operating methods too? Any chance of some film placed on the forum.
Who is PJ Heck??

ps is the Russian dead, sleeping or just in love?

Hi Mark!

Actually, we have got the original manuals, and some re-enactors have begun putting some on line for free download. The russian is downed over his maxim (It's actually a gas gun, a fake, but it's made from a real parts kit- but "shoots" propane) and is an awesome guy... he'd just lost a "duel" there with the maxims, I guess?

The Russians looked great, and were a blast to go up against. They all took hits too, a lot. I hope someone got a picture of that, they made a number of charges straight into the teeth of the Maxims!

Of course, we took hits too, they took out our whole gun crew several times over, and forced us to relocate several times as well! We had to pick up and haul it with the 08/15 several times! It really makes you appreciate what the original guys did, all those years ago.

Oh thats a picture of that 1910 Maxim that I saw that was completely blood pitted on the rear half. All this time I figure it just sat muzzle up in a wet basement! I should have listened to the guy that it was pitting from blood!

Great pictures! I see you are running a 7.62 conversion. Pretty cool but I am still not buying uniforms!!!

PJ Heck is another long time MG collectors that has a bit of everything and a lot of most things.
