Re: mg53
I was gonna go with a BRP grip as they require no welding and you can get em with a safety

Re: mg53
you might want to check out www.projectguns.com there is some good info there on the 42
--recouperator and the springs inside the recouperator ---should not have a need to be altered---some guys take the recouper apart to clean it---some install new springs (if needed) the recouperator pushes the barrel back into it's proper location.
now the bolt spring will have to be shortened---this is very critical in that if the spring is too short --the bolt may not have enough power---to long and the weapon wont eject the spent casing---read thru the threads here and your find a pretty good starting point---each weapon is a little different WITH THAT SAID THERE IS A THREAD ABOUT USING A STANDARD LENGHT SPRING---YOU MUST MODIFY THE BUFFER/STK
i hope this helps a little

Re: mg53
yes it does i have been to that site very good.this website is also very good.i have everything figured out except the spring and rod inside bolt. i an almost shure thet are not needed because it will fire with bolt closed and fireing pin will be in its place. is this correct? thanks for help mag
Re: mg53
Right you are! The rear of the bolt gets an extention, which is why the spring needs shortening. If not shortened, there is not enough room for all of the coils when compressed.Read up on all the old posts, lots of info there, and pics.Severtal type of grips, and several opinions on each! ---bil
