Running away...

I just picked up a Wiselite made M53 at the last gun show. Today I took it out to shoot and it ran well with the recent 8mm imports. However it would run away sometimes firing up to 5 rounds with a single pull of the trigger! I am not sure if this is a bolt/firing pin problem or a trigger pack problem.
Upon cleaning tonight it appears the trigger uses AR15 components and I can see nothing wrong in there. No wear on the sear or anything. However the bolt seemed a bit odd to me. The firing pin is a 2 piece deal which I am sure is common for the semi-auto mod. But the spring that goes on the long firing pin itself is very weak. I'd say a ball point pen spring is stronger. Is this the way it's suppose to be or should that spring be stronger? The spring on the actual firing pin itself seemed fairly weak as well but not as bad as the one on the long pin.
Great firearm that I just want to fix it so I have no headaches in the future.
