reciever set up before weld

:twisted: the trigger assembly on the mg 42 the front portoin is it suppose to slide all the way forward then lock down oh ya it full auto so its not mod. yet. and i have welded it yet im settin up to get welded. pictures would help alot

I thought the NFA violation was $250,000.00 and/or 10 years in federal prison. Either way it is not something to take chances on. JasonD it was nice meeting you at Lucky#13's 1919 build party. Cut out the grip stick area and weld in a bolt block pin before doing any reconnections of the pieces, these simple mods should not take more than a hour or two and doing them first is very necessary.

oops i worded my question wrong .. the problem is that my kit is appears to be to kits combined so theres a ton of over lap but its cut in the stcik grip slot so i need to no how snugg it fitt before i do the welding then the semi mod.

There are a couple of receiver drawings with dimentions in one of the forums here. that should help.
You can also set the parts side by side and look for locator points to determine the length.
