barrel/ barrel extension
has anyone tried to seperate these, book shows they are screwed together and "punched" but gives no instructions for removal/ replacement, was just thinkin that if not all barrels will work with all bolts it may be cheaper to swap out extensions then buy barrels to test fit, any thoughts?
Great men are born in fire, it is the privilege of lessor men to light the flame, no matter the cost

standard threads, but with as cheap as barrels are, why bother? You do realize that if you screw a set together, you still need to head space them.... A little loose on headspace doesn't seem to make much difference to a lot of the guys. If the headspace is too tight, it would be easier to take the face of the barrel down 10 thousandths than to unscrew it and risk twisting the barrel extension.
