Post by Pirate »

The tutorial for the Wise Lite cam sections is finished.. There is a link to a free .dfx reader, download and install it then save the templates and you will be able to print them to scale.

It looks like some machine work is needed, very little. The shape itself looks good. ---bil

there is machine work required, I am working on a set of templates you can download for some of it. I will be getting a shroud from Wise lite and some information on mating the parts. I will post it all in the tutorial.
I will also be doing one for the bbl shroud bushing.

I have attached a copy of the ejection port template, can a few of you download and print it and see if it comes out to scale?
thanks

I have not been able to print it to scale. I tried doing this two differant ways. But I think the info is clear and could be easily be mocked up on the part to scale with the specs you have provided.

Thanks,

I agree-I couldn,t get it to come out,but I am not too proficient with the computer. So I just used the measurements, added a radius, and made a paper template.Tried it on several receivers-worked fine!. ---bil

Hi Pirate:

To print to size on everybody's printers, it needs to be a .pdf file. If your drafting program will "output" .pdf's then you can do it. If not....I can have a try with my program. Send me a .dxf or .dwg file and I'll see what I can do.

I just updated the cam section page on my site, I can't attach the dfx file format here. There is a ling to the reader and a link to the drawing, click on the link, save the fie, download the virewere and it should print to scale. I will have the rest of the templates posted in a couple of days if it works.
