I just finished putting about 250 rounds through my Yugo M53 semi auto build. I built everything in my shop with the help from everyone on this site. I want to thank all of you for taking the time to post info, pictures, and advice. Especially Oakroadent for his extremely detailed documented build. This was not my first gun build, but it was my first MG42 variant. I enjoyed this build so much, I have already ordered another kit! Hopefully with the knowledge I gained on the first one, the second will be even more fun!

Looks nice, great job. Yeah these builds are a lot of fun and can be addicting. My first one had me wondering at times why I ever considered building it during the frustrating parts...then when I was done I wanted to do another

Looks good! I know what you mean, I'm doing my first build and I couldn't have gotten this far without the help of the membership here, especially Der Alder. Without his coaching I would be lost. Congrats on the new build.
