California Pistol-less Grip

Cut up a Yugo grip stick to comply with the stupid California assault weapon law. The piece cut out of the grip fills the hole with the orientation shown in the picture.

Looks real good.I hope to build a Kalifornia legal one also.Do I have to cut the nozzle off the flash hider to keep it legal?

The safe bet would be to cut off the flash hider cone. I cut some windows into one, but I think I will just cut it off completely to be safe. California's catagory three assault weapon features ban, does not include constructive possesion like the NFA does, so you can have another non neutered grip stick and booster for when you move to a free state. When the gun is mounted on the MG3 ground tripod the cut-off pistol grip won't make much difference.

Thats exactly what I'm going to do.I can't wait until I retire to Nevada.This state is a horrible place to live!
