Firing Pin Protrusion

Post by DrJekyll »

Ok Guys,
I'm finishing up my semi build, I bought the semi bolt kit from BRP and installed it all on my original Yugo bolt carrier. The firing pin sticks out too far past bolt face when bolt is fully in battery. I looks at BRPs website on firing pin timing with the washers and it does nothing to solve my problem. The only thing I came up with is to grind down the tip of the firing pin. Any body else have this problem? Solution?

Steve
One of the first things that I would do is to wait till Monday and then call Brian and talk with him. Great Guy and I'm sure that he will help out.

Saw Brian at Knob Creek and bought a lot of great MG42 German marked small parts from him.

Thanks Rocker,
What table was Brian at? I got some 42 parts also, I also met John Baum at the Alleghanny Arsenal table. That was fun talking with him, bought his books and guages

Brian was not there on Thursday from what I could tell. He was on the end cap on the middle set of table right next to the cute girls that were selling pics. I'll try to find the table layout and post the number later.
Right now I'm trying to figure out what happened to the board.
