I used the same one that I set my 1919a4 and my ak47s rivets with. That said a harbor freight air gun with one of the tips cut down and a dome ground into the tip of it. Nothing special just works. Some folks like to set by hand.
That said MAKE SURE that you use jack screws inside to hold the rivets in place and support the receiver walls. I went to home depot and bought 5/16 inch nuts and bolts and couplers and made my own. I made two sets of two and used 2 jack screws at a time gave the 2nd set away to another member of this site. Make sure that they are tight. Don't over do it as you can widen your receiver.
On one of the jack screws make sure that you cut into it , grind as needed that is, so it can fit into one of the areas. Take your time double check and do it. I heated mine up and worked it over then heated again and finished. I believe that it took my wife and I about 1 hour per side. For you speed guys, I'm slow. However my rivets are set and holding well. Also my wife and I took out time and enjoyed working together. She still has not shot it yet. I'm sure she will sometime as she has shot my 1919 and ak47's and and.
Good Luck

I also know someone the stuck the rivets in and then TIG the end of them to form a rivet like head welding them in somewhat at the same time. Looked good and worked.
