BRP semi trigger pack help needed!!

Been a lurker for a while here (Fantastic website by the way!!!) and am starting to work on a semi build and I am coming to an issue that isn't making any sense to me. I am using one of the older BRP dummy receivers and utilizing one of the BRP alluminum pistol grip assemblies. According to the prints there should still be some material across the bottom of the receiver (a small web if you will) between the cutouts for the trigger pack and the ejection port. The issue that I am having is measuring everything out by the dimensions on the prints and then laying in the trigger pack that there is no way there will be a web of metal there. By going off the print the trigger pack opening isn't even long enough for it to fit into. The openings for the trigger pack and ejection port will just be one long opening. What am I missing?? I have looked at this over and over and even layed out the trigger pack on an original cut MG42 receiver and I see the same thing. Below are some pictures, the first two are of the semi trigger housing on a cut original MG42 receiver and you can see that the housing extends into the ejection port. The last picture is of the trigger housing on the BRP receiver. Is it OK that it becomes just one continous opening for these?? Help please!!!

I see the problem, but don't understand it.Is the BRP grip housing longer than the original? Or is the rear mounting hole in a differant spot? I haven't used the BRP parts, but hope someone that has will respond. ---bill

Rear mounting hole is in the correct spot. I checked it against the prints and against an original German receiver. The grip housing is around a quarter of an inch longer from the rear mounting hole. I called BRP today on this issue and was told that their should still be a web there. Based on their receiver prints, yes there should be. Based on this actual product the only way their can be a web there is if the ejection port is shortened quite a bit.

Well with a little more help from BRP after sending them pictures (Thank you BIl for that suggestion by the way) I have it figured out. I was under the assumption that the grip stick twists and locks in to the cutout for it but it twists into the back of the ejection port and slides back into position.
