Using A FAL H-T-S For Fire Control Group
Well , if it became a technical issue, you have the ar-15 fire control group( 3 parts), then you have all the parts that were custom made , which in my gun goes way over the 9-us parts stupidity rules. Its good that you bring that up, this 9 part rule gives the atf a fall back for prosecution. If they just don't like something they will find a way to get a DA to back them up. now how to prove they are "made in the usa",i took pictures of all my parts before assembling my gun.john
l1a1 parts
im in the process of useing l1a1 parts in a bren conversion havent worked out all the buggs yet but should work good for mg42 i would suggest useing the l1a1 hammer plunger assembly its one piece doesent come apart

now do modified parts count toward your us parts? like the bolt carrier is modified and so is the grip frame and rear reciever?
or do you only count the ar parts and the fireing pin with springs?

Great men are born in fire, it is the privilege of lessor men to light the flame, no matter the cost
