After looking at my bbl/breech combination I looked at my other bbl's we may need to look in a different direction not sure but possible.
The locking end on my bbl is wartime prod. the bbl is .308, my other bbl's are all post war with pw breech area's, is it possible the locking up is different between the 2 . My 42 is a MG1 combination.
