Re: LAFETTE OPTIC MOUNT ASSY-ALL PARTS
I have purchased two of these sight block assemblies for my lafettes. They are spot on and works of art. I got the MG34 lafettes fsu 1940 and fsu 1941 from Bob Landies about 10 years ago and both were missing the sight blocks. These fit perfectly and come with every part you need to install. The cam...

Need MG34 Receiver Welding Jig---Buy or Rent
The 5th Gebirgsjaegers of Ohio (Re-enacting) are doing a bunch of Semi MG34's from the IMA receiver parts. We would like to find a good MG34 jig to ensure they go together straight and true. If anyone has finished with theirs and wants to sell it or rent, let me know. We also have a bunch of WWII MG...

Re: anyone have email address for Pieter Kaat from Luxemburg
If I am not mistaken. Pieter Kaat was arrested for selling items from the Victory Museum in Lux and is no longer dealing in Militaria. been a few years now. All those vehicles he had "For Sale" are now in Indiana in a musuem. I forget the link. Krause Auction? I think was the purchaser of the entire...

kls
"kls" is Steyer managed plant in Poland. They did bolts and trunnions for bnz guns. If I am not mistaked, Steyer took over the old Radom plant in Poland and kept producing the Radom pistols as well. kls is a good code for a bnz gun.

AA is Okay
I have done biz with AA for a couple of years. He comes to the OGCA and OVMS as well as Max shows. I have bought a Maxim kit and a few PPS43 kits from him. Lots of mags and pouches for PPS43 and PPsH41 as well. All unissued or damn near. He always let me cherry pick, and one time I went through five...

New rivets
Is anyone selling new rivets to replace the ones ground off by IO? The trunnion is te heart of the locking system for 42's and a tightly riveted trunnion is a must. I made a few for my guns, but we are doing another batch, and if someone has already done the work...I'd just buy them.

How tight?
From my firing of SA MG34's and MG42's I see no reason to over tighten the flash hider. Hand tighten, and the back it off to the last available notch. The barrel bearing is what keeps the barrel in the receiver, the flash hider just holds in the booster. The entire barrel bearing, booster, flash hid...

Ohio Ordnance Works
I live 30 minutes for Bob Landis Ohio Ord and visit the place every 6 months. You guys should be buying every part you can from him. He has two crates 4' x4'x 4' of MG34 and MG42 barrel carriers. All near new and all with original paint under the Romi slopped on paint. Acetone and a rag removes most...

New to the site, long time in the trenches
Just wanted to say hello to all. Stumbled onto the site a few days ago, and joined next day. I have been a Gebirgsjaeger re-enactor since 1983. My hobby is collecting ordnance mostly, and I have three MG42's....so love this sight. I used IMA kits and dewatted them, but after meeting Dennis at an eve...
