I know this is an ancient thread, but I am interested in something like this. These days we could use drones to safely check the area and record the impacts from above to get a great view of the beaten zone. I ended up here as I stretched one of mine a little too much in removing my lafette backplate. One side was still good though. Looks like 1mm wire thickness. Looks like 7 active coils and right at 1/4" OD so maybe 6mm OD and maybe 21mm OAL. The hooks are asymmetric but I don't think that would matte...
