I know what you mean. Already thinking of another to correct all the mistakes I made on this one. Again, I.m only 'thinking" about it.

Found the issue with the drag. It's the grip stick, more precisely where the bolt slides across the hammer. Thanks John, that's the problem then. It is a 308 feed tray, not a converted 8mm. Is there a way to put a spacer in the original 8mm feedtray? I'll also search the forum for the answer.
