Re: MG34 Training Rounds
Question for you if you don't mind, since you are able to run DAG ammo in your MG42. I have an original MG2 from 1944, and I have been trying to get the DAG ammo to run in it. How are you getting it to work? I have swapped the 308 conversion parts onto the MG42, swapped the bolt head with the DAG bo...

WTB: Nice transferable C&R MG42
One of my buddies shot my MG42, and he is hooked and has the money to buy one. He would like some kind of MG42. Factory and year don't matter, however he would #1 like the gun to be original (not refinished), and in really nice shape, and then #2 would also preferably like it to be matching. Just lo...

This ad says this one was refinished. I think this looks great! What is this?

Want to refinish my MG42. Options?
So I have a perfectly working 1945 C&R MG42, and it gobbles up ammo which is great. The only thing that bothers me is the finish on the gun. It was half ass reblued at some point in it's life, and it's far from perfect. It also has the usual pitting here and there on the gun, etc. In the end, since ...

WTB: New old stock MG34 bolt
I am looking for an unused MG34 bolt, or one that is not used very much. No wear on the camming surfaces and still has the original rollers.
Thank you!
Mike

1970s Portuguese 8mm
Do you guys think with todays market (I don't need to hear about how these use to cost $100), and the future market, that $500 per 900 round sealed crate of the 1970s non corrosive Portuguese 8mm ammo is a good deal? Comes to about $0.55/round. The same price as new production steel cased Romanian H...

What kind of 8mm surplus ammo is this?
So, I bought a C&R MG42 and it came with a little bit of surplus ammo. I'm trying to figure out if any of this is worth keeping or just selling. I honestly don't really shoot corrosive ammo anyways, so I don't know anything about these head stamps, but I'd still like to know what this is, and possib...

I hear this is the best ammo to run in a full auto MG42 and MG34 nowadays, and it's non corrosive.
