hey i still think you can do it
you have access to a mill right ? there have been guy that did most of the work with a dremel .
just have some confidence and remember that a lot of the people that have built an mg didnt have experience with it either but it still worked out fine .

now the ammo aint so bad i wont shoot it in fact i have mosin and sks that realy likes it . there has been times where that steel was really out of spec but its not very common

yes copper washed sheet bullet jackets not good in fa i dont think its so bad in a sa but i still dont like it if i can remember right there was some 8mm that was made over there that wouldnt even chamber in the gun . also if the new ammo is cheap then it was probably cheaply made which isnt good fo...

i use clean 15-40 engine oil on all my guns . it sure lasts long never had a rust spot since and it reduces friction way better than that thin spray on oil
